What is Thai Massage?

The ancient art of Thai Yoga Massage is a relaxing full body treatment that is fully adaptable to every body type and intensity preference. No experience with yoga is necessary. The Sen lines are two major energy meridians that run the length of the body. They span from the toes up the legs to the fingers, crossing in the abdomen, and travel up the spine and neck to the crown of the head. These energy meridians will be stimulated to help clear blockages, restoring natural balance and flow of the body's energy field. Every muscle and joint will be worked on, with focus being on the back, shoulders, hips, legs, and muscles along the sides of the spine. Stagnant energy which often pools in the legs causing lethargy and fatigue can be dispersed and redistributed. After the session, it is common to notice that even more tension than you were aware of storing has been released, leaving you feeling open and light. Allow yourself to relax and sink into that place of inner peace.

After your session:

Enjoy some water or tea to help flush toxins and acids that are squeezed out from tissues during the session. They are released into circulation to be carried out of the body, drinking water assists this process.

Grant yourself some quiet time and enjoy the feeling of lightness and ease. Try to be aware of when and how habitual tension patterns re-enter the body.

With practice and repetition, old habits can be released and new ones created, such as for good posture and maintaining inner calm.
